Seven years ago, Anchor Legacy Foundation was essentially a group of volunteers, from Anchor Church, dedicated to making a difference in the surrounding communities in Johannesburg. Our journey began with the renovation of Greater Are You Early Childhood Development (ECD) as part of our volunteer initiatives. What started as a small project has since evolved into a dedicated nonprofit organization with a clear education mandate.
Over the years, we have undertaken various initiatives aimed at empowering the community and nurturing future generations. From conducting school repairs and hosting youth upskilling workshops to providing mentoring programs, our journey has been one of growth and impact.
Anchor Legacy Foundation was born out of Anchor Church, which is now The Life Church South Africa. Our foundation is rooted in Christian values, and our work is guided by a deep sense of compassion, integrity, and commitment to serving others.
In 2024, we took a significant step forward by officially registering as a nonprofit organization with a focus on education. Our mission is clear: to create lasting positive change by providing children with access to quality education, supporting parents, and uplifting communities.
